follow-up question

Feel free to delete this if you feel it won't help anyone else....
I posted a question earlier this week about a bump on my vaginal lips...and I haven't had a chance to get to the doctor or a lab for a herpesselect test yet, but I've thought of a few other things....prior to this bump showing up, now that I think about it, there have been a few others. One was on the other vaginal lip, slightly more on the inside though, but it looked just like a pimple. I popped it, and it diappeared almost immediately, so I didn't really give it a second thought. I do seem to remember have some general itching and redness that lasted for a day or less and then just disappeared. Then there have also been two pimples (they were rather big) showing up on either upper thigh (at different times). One formed a small head on it; the other went away after I applied pimple cream on it for several days. And occasionally I'll get similar bumps on the buttocks. I guess my question is, would herpes likely show up in so many different places and at different times (ie, not showing up on the vaginal area at the same time as the thigh or something?)

Thank you in advance for any insights...I won't make any more posts as I know that other people need to have their questions answered.

You may just have pimples, and herpes usually wouldn't cause the scattered lesions you describe.  But I can't be certain, and it's not my responsibility to make a diagnosis through verbal description. As I said before, the way to handle this is to see a health care provider for examination and possibly an HSV blood test.  Please don't keep posting new questions on it.

Why don't you just go get tested like you said you would when you previously asked this question?

I plan to...It's a follow-up question, not the same exact thing. I was just looking for some more insight and thought someone else might have a similar and could be helped as well. That's all.

Thanks for the opinion and advice..I know you can't make a diagnosis online and I won't make any further postings.
