New mole

A suspicious mole suddently appeared on my torso... Could it be cancerous? I'm someone that has lots of moles all over my body. Several moles were removed by dermatologists over the year...

If it didn't have that bluish bruise around it I wouldn't be too concerned. But I've no idea what that colouration might be so best to be checked out.

I'm new to melanoma, but one of the first things I learned was that the appearance of a new mole is a clear warning of melanoma. That's how mine appeared. I can't explain the color around it, but if it develops into an open sore (ulcerates) that's even more reason to get to a doctor ASAP.
