Yes, there is constant itching and it has spread a bit. Nothing has gotten rid of it so far, as for my main Dr., He has no clue. It starts just as a purplish/brown area with tiny red dots, but over the while it is now down to the front part ot the thigh, but only as tiny purple dots. Could this be something different? Or should I stop getting b12 injections? Thanks for your time.

Anemia and deficiency of vitamins C, K, B12, or folic acid are the common causes of easy bruisability. These patches can be due to iron deficiency. But if there is any itching or there is increased appearance then it can be an allergic reaction to the injections. In that case, Take some over the counter antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
If the symptoms persist then you may need steroids which are available under prescription.
