Thanks for your reply...I agree better to be safe than sorry. I am scheduling an appointment cause I have some red spots on my face too that I want to see if he can give me cream for...they are just splotchy red spots so hopefully it will just go away. But when I go in for that I will ask them about the spot.
Thanks!
Hi I would never be hesitant to have a dermatologist check anything out that seems strange to you. I just had a mole removed that was black, small like a pinpoint, and a little textured but not really. My dr. thought it was harmless and just removed it as a precaution but it turned out to have atypical cells and I had to go back to have more skin removed from around it, just the other day. (9 stitches worth.) I was worried like crazy but its going to be fine now because its gone. And the feet and lower legs aren't a good place to have moles. I'm sure you're fine but it always feels good to put your mind at ease right? :)
If it stays the same, it's a freckle and harmless. Dodgy things change.
What if it just stays exactly the same? I guess then I would just figure it is a black freckle huh...LOL Thanks for your help!
I will keep an eye on it!!!!
Thanks
Laurin
That sounds very small so you probably can afford to watch it for another couple of weeks. If it changes colour or gets bigger get to a doctor asap. Of course it may just go away.
Small like the size of a pen point. No it really has not changed at all other than the itching. I feel dumb going to the doctor if it is nothing but then again it just does not look right ya know?
When I noticed it I thought it was weird that it just popped up out of nowhere and in such a strange place. Of course I only noticed it cause I was painting my toenails.
My husband says it is just a freckle but he has not seen it in the light when you can tell how black and shiny it is.
Has it changed over that month? It could be an injury but of course it could also be something nasty. How small is small? I'd give it another week or two and if it's still there see a professional. Anything like a blood blister will have cleared up by then while a mole will still be there.
Take care and try not to worry.
