As long as it's only a 1% worry. You're not being silly at all. Of course you won't be fully confident until you get the results and that's sensible (unlike me who doesn't phone for results and just hopes if they are bad the doctor will get hold of me).

Great news on making it to the doctor without passing out. I'm glad he put your mind at rest. He probably has to say 99% just in case he is ever wrong and gets sued. I hope you have some good sleep and eat well now.

Take care.

I'm pleased you are going to the doctor and will be sending you good thoughts. Please let us know how you get on. Whatever the result (and I'm betting there is nothing wrong) you will be much better able to deal with it once you know for sure.

Congratulations for overcoming your reluctance to see the doctor.

Your worries don't seem in proportion to the problem. Show a doctor, get them to tell you it's fine and then try to forget about it.

If you have had the mole for a long time and it hasn't changed (apart from the recent damage you say you gave it) then there really isn't any good reason to be feeling doomed.

Take care.

i feel the same way. i wish i had an answer. i just wanted to tell you that I FEEL DOOMED TOO. if you read my post. i have A FEW things on my back. and i don't want to know. i don't want to hear that i have cancer. i'm scared  of what the moles are, but i'm more scared of going to the doctor and finding out. hope you find some relief, why do people have to go through this.
