Melanoma? Very concerned new mother

I have this mole on my upper back.. Occasionally it gets irritated due to my rubbing my neck and back from muscle tightness or clothing tags

It has since felt dry and peeled on the edges

A few dats later I ended up peeling most if it off
And now I'm left with normal skin and a small dry peice left

I'm not sure anyone can tell if is melanoma now or not I only have a picture if the original mole

Is it cancerous? And why was if fairly easy to pick off? Is that because it was cancerous?

Is this picture of what is left or what it looked like before it fell off?

Either way I would get it looked at by a doctor. Moles do change during pregnancy and after birth but best to get it confirmed by a professional.

Take care and congratulations on your new baby.
