Hello,

Like stated anemia post surgery can contribute to tiredness. If there are no post surgical complications, boost up both your physical and emotional stamina. Take balanced, fresh and appetizing meals. Exercise moderately. Sleep well and follow good sleep hygiene measures like going to bed at the same time, waking up at the same time, avoidance of alcohol, smoking and caffeinated beverages. Maintain warm, comfortable bedroom environment and engage in relaxing activities like a warm bath before bed time. If symptoms till persist, consult your doctor to rule out metabolic disorders like anemia and diabetes mellitus.

I would tell you MD, you could be a little anemic from the surgery.  If your still taking pain meds this can also make you sleepy feeling.  Hope this helps
