Hi, welcome to the forum, you should not leave the percocet abruptly as it can lead to withdrawal syndrome as it contain a opioid. Few of the withdrawal symptoms are dysphoric mood (unpleasant), irritability, agitation, dizziness, sensory disturbances, anxiety, insomnia etc. Hence need to gradually taper (reduction) the dose over a time.
Above mentioned symptoms can cause the disturbance in the sleep pattern. If intolerable symptoms occur following a decrease in dosage or upon discontinuation of therapy, then resuming the previous dose with a more gradual taper should be considered.
I suggest you to consult physician for appropriate dosage reduction. Take care and regards.
Percoset is a narcotic! You are probably sweating alot and feeling little aches and pains as well..... Hate to break it to you but if you have been taking percoset daily for any lengh of time longer than a month then you are going through withdraw!!!!! Your body is looking for it so it starts to affect your sleep and alot of other things.... You can't just stop taking you prescribed meds..... Talk to your doctor about getting off of them and come up with a plan together..... This is the safest way!
