Is there alternative treatment?

I was diagnosed at a sleep clinic over 15 years ago with RLS.  I have been taking cloneazepam 2-4 mg nightly. There are times that the rls breaks through this medication. Is there any other treatment for this disorder?  I slso suffer from chronic insomnia, which the cloneazepam helps with.

Drink more water. I know it might sound silly, but it can help reduce occurrences if you are well hydrated for some people.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? If you are referring to Restless Leg Syndrome, an algorithm is endorsed by the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation. It includes both nonmedical and medical treatments. Medical therapy in RLS is not curative and is known to have side effects. Talk to your doctor bout this for the medicine suited for you. Your medical history and your physical examination are important  factors to consider. Take care and best regards.
