Sleep disorder

My one year old daughter has no tooth yet but since she was born she has been tossing n turning restlessly during her sleep. Now it seems to only get worse. I have to wake up every hour to calm her down by either feeding or just cuddling her. She still seems to be restless and moves around sometimes crying out loud as though trying to settle properly or some gas or just gets disturbed a lot...sometimes refusing to take my milk. Plzz help me solve this issue.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

Your daughter may be having GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) which is causing her to have such symptoms. Try Elevating the head of the baby's crib or bassinet, hold the baby upright for 30 minutes after a feeding, change feeding schedules and give solid foods to your daughter. If the symptoms persist then she may need medication for the same.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I think you should try a community on babies, not on sleep.

Might provide some help/insight.
