Can Theophylline/Xolair help sleep apnea

I've heard that theophylline can help sleep apnea and asthma and is related chemically to coffee.
I'm also interested in trying xolair but read that it can increase risk of cancer.

I've tried spiriva and dulera, combivent and xopenex and I still have some blockage/wheezing when I exhale.  I have low oxygen at 75% in my sleep and can't sleep and have terrible fog for days and exhaustion for 2 years with the sleep apnea

which medication could help my breathing/sleep apnea problems?  I heard maybe diamox or theophylline
I take Ambien but it doesn't always help

thanks very much
xolair does increase risk of infections and these can be pretty bad with asthma as asthmatics are slow to heal
I have been unable to treat my sleep apnea for 2 years now and had a bad infection for over a month and am still wheezing even after large doses of prednisone
I'm trying spiriva now.  maybe the wheezing is from dulera, symbicort or singulair or a tonsil problem?
I am going to have my tonsils removed.  should I have the adenoids removed also?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Theophylline is used to prevent and treat wheezing. It relaxes and opens air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe. It is used in the management of both the acute and chronic phases of reversible airway obstruction. But it does not help treat sleep apnea.

Xolair is a relatively new injectable medication used to treat moderate to severe asthma. This too does not help to treat sleep apnea.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
