Hi,

It is true that tonsils and adenoids are a common cause of snoring in children. The child should be taken to the paediatrician without delay as the child may be getting too little oxygen and too much carbon dioxide which can lead to poor heart and lung development if left unchecked. So i suggest please consult a paediatrician as soon as you can.

Hi,
don't worry about the forum as it is important what your concern is, children in this age group do snore due to Adenoids which is commonest cause for snoring, also respiratory infections. so better you consult an ENT specialist who can examine your daughter and treat accordingly.
