thank you so much for your help... i already visited our company doctor... i forgot to tell you that i already had my blood sugar check last july.. and it was normal.. so my doctor told me that i was still ok..

my doctor gave me vit. b complex to taken every other day... ryt now i change my sleeping paterns.. sleeping before 11pm.. and right now i am feeling less sleepy..

lastly, on the end of the month i would undergo some screen test to rule out other things... thanks.. God bless and take care..

Hello, Eufronio!

I would simply tell your doctor the exact symptoms that you described here.  I would also ask for a sleep study to rule out apnea.  Hopefully, the doctor will agree.  Lastly, I would make sure that the doctor orders a full blood panel test to rule out other things. Good luck and take care!

Hi

Excessive sleepiness is also called hypersomnia. Some of the causal factors are: sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing disorders, Narcolepsy, Idiopathic hypersomnia, Psychiatric disorders, Chronic use of drugs or alcohol, Other medical disorders, insufficient sleep, Sleep-wake cycle disorder circadian rhythm disorders (eg, nightshift work), etc.

You should seek medical help (sleep specialist) in helping you find out if there is any medical cause for excessive sleepiness.

In the mean time, be careful while doing work that could endanger you or others around you.
Take care,
Regards,

Good morning, Eufronio.

Have you had your blood sugar checked?  Tiredness, weakness, light headedness can be a sign of a blood sugar problem.  It also may be that your circadian rhythym has not adjusted to your new shift and you're not getting proper sleep.  Perhaps a light sleep aid to get you to sleep would help.
