dizzy spells

ever since i was a little girl a few times a month i get dizzy spells in my sleep. i'll wake with horrible pains in my head and after a minute the spell ends.. if it happens once in the night it'll happen at least five times more.  then it'll be weeks til it happens again. when i wake in the morning i am nauseaus. the first time this ever happened to me was the night just after returning home from an amusement part in which i rode a ride that gave me the same dizzy feeling. also when my head is tilted back to far i get dizzy. could the dizzy spells be from the ride, and is there a way to fix my sleep problem to prevent any further dizzy nights.

it's actually in the front and the back of my head where the pain hits, the weather isn't a factor with me. it happens always, rain or shine. ever since i was 10 and now i'm 24.

I notice dizziness and headaches with myself too.  Does it hurt in the back of the head?  That seems to be one of the places I notice it when I'm dealing with dizziness.

I also notice weather seems to be a factor. If there's a major storm system moving through I may end up feeling dizzy until the storm approaches.

If that's the case with you it may be worth keeping record to see if there is more than a coincidence.
