Hi,
Thanks for the update. It is possible that the symptoms are also associated with the medicine you took. However, if you also have asthma, it is best that you see your doctor for proper evaluation. Don't be afraid to tell your mom or parents about it. You can also tell somebody close to you and accompany you to your attending physician. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,
How are you? If it has been 5 years already, I recommend that you have this checked by your doctor or be referred to a sleep specialist. Insomnia  occurs when there is difficulty falling or staying asleep. This can present with trouble falling asleep or falling asleep easily but waking up too soon. The most common type is called secondary insomnia wherein it is a symptom or side effect of some other problem such as certain medical conditions, medicines, sleep disorders, and substances. This is different to primary insomnia which occurs if there is a certain trigger like stress and emotional upset. Secondary insomnia often resolves if the cause is managed. Lifestyle changes including better sleep habits, may help. Talk to your parents about this for proper management.  Take care and do keep us posted.
