Sleep apnea surgery
Has anyone here had surgery for their sleep apnea? I have had the UPPP and most recent (2 months) a “suspension of the tongue”. My question is if anyone here has had the tongue suspension surgery how long does it take for the “double chin” look to go away?
I have an appointment next Wed. with him but, I was hoping to here from others who may have had the same type of surgery.

Generally ,recovery from suspension of tongue should not take more time than other operative procedures. You need to consult you surgeon regarding this. Since he has done the surgery, he will be the best judge in this case.
