I was wondering if you might help us out by answering a one-question survey? If you have a moment, go to the front page (hit the back to community button at the top of this page) and locate the poll about sleep topics. I would love to have your feedback. Thanks, H.
Have you tried to see a neurologist who specializes in sleep medicine? That would be my recommendation. I have a different type of movement disorder during sleep, so I understand how frustrating these problems can be. Mine is secondary to a condition called narcolepsy, which affects the body's ability to control sleep and wake.
Your English is excellent. No worries.
I found some more information here:
http://www.medlink.com/medlinkcontent.asp
but it doesn't include in-depth information on treatments for this disorder in adults. As I said, your best bet is probably to see a sleep neurologist for treatment. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you right now.
I hope you find the help you need soon! Best, H.
