Bipolar Disorder and Smoking

Does any one who have Bipolar Disorder also used to smoke? How did you quit smoking since I face problems trying to quit smoking?

Thanks a lot for you response. I am an student right now, I tried quitting and for me also It was very hard to focus on my studying. Eventually, I had so high mood swing that I started smoking again. I will try again later, and I won't stop till I succeed :)

I have a close family member who is Bipolar and stopped smoking. She had to quit smoking cold-turkey because she became pregnant. SHe said that it was fairly easy for her but i could tell the mood swings did become a bit stronger. She said the hardest part was just focusing on the goal, No Smoking.
