Have ur dr explain to them the risks of possibly having a "failed" surgery due to smoking. I agree to encourage everyone to smoke outside if they don't already and hopefully u can get them all to join u in ur quest to quit. *hugs* greatest blessings to u

Quitting will greatly speed up your recovery time.

Can you have everyone smoke outdoors so your chances of quitting are better? It's almost impossible to quit when everyone in the house is puffing away, so how about suggesting the whole family try together. This way you can support one another and be strong for each other, especially when it's needed.

A great website, whyquit.com can help you to prepare yourself. It's also a way to understand your addiction and just what you will need to know to help you through it.

Good luck to you and them!
