My 3 year old son is still not talking. He is currently in speech thearpy. When he was born, he had shoulder dystoria, cord wrapped around him and swallowed meconnium. He also suffered a ripped capailarity above the visoual cortex. The bleeding caused hte seizures. He had seizures for the first year of his life. He was on phenobarbital and dylantian. He has since been seizure free. He is almost caught up to where he sould be, skill wise. His comprehension is almost there. There are times when he does understand you and times when he cant. Problem is, he wont say a word, and I dont know if its because of whats happened or just him. What is your opinion?
