Hi Bev,
I guess when it comes to being over 40, some of these numbers help with letting us know how many eggs we have. Fsh at day 3 tells that you have eggs left, AMH is a newer test, all the antrol follicles release this hormone, so they are able to figure out that you have many eggs left but I'm told it's expensive, I asked my dr to do mine. Mine is really high, I went on a site and they say my number means I have pcos, I asked my RE and she said I'm fine just really fertile, that only tells that I make lots of eggs,it still can't tell the quality, still bfn. I made 18 for ivf, had my tubes untied and went into iui, this past cycle I made 7. Just praying I can get the magic egg to show itself before my 45th birthday in June!
Good Luck and lots of baby dust,
Melanie

Hi Celeste, do you know your AMH and fsh? My AMH is 5.6 and fsh is 7.0.
Let me know. The only thing is these numbers just let us know how many eggs we have left, not the quality!
Good luck

My doctor leaning more to AMH values than FSH. Mine were low, pretty normal for my age. I wish they would right those studies in English, Really!!!
