I think this is a great idea. I use Pre'seed a pre'conception suplement and Maca, I also take Flax seed oil.
I haven't had any luck naturally yet, but we're Bding every other day starting on day 6 to 8 and using OPK to predict ovulation and up Bding to every day. I lift my hips on a pillow for 1/2 hr after Bding to aid sperm in making that long trip. I take my prenatals, magnesium, fish oil and Vit. D as well as eating a well balanced diet w/lots of veggies. I cut down on caffene around O time and drink more water. Hopefully it works. Next month we go to doc to possibly add more to the regimen.
Good luck to all!
I was taking a pre-natal vitamin and folic acisd.I don't know if it helped but I got pg three times-although I managed to have only one precious baby.
Linda...
Great idea. Feb is right around the corner...I'm excited for ya and I know you will be happy too. ;o)
I'm taking prenatals, use Maca (stopped-will start again), working out & losing weight by eating small meals every 2-3 hrs. Baby Aspirin, Flax Oil (use in shakes) and anything else that is healthy (foodwise) I will incorporate.
There seems to be some evidence that after having an HSG to check their tubes, many women have gone on to get pregnant in the next couple months. Supposedly clears out the cobwebs or bits that might be hindering the passage of the egg. I'm going to get one done because I'm afraid I might have some blockage. Hopefully everything will be fine and it will help me out.
Savanha, thanks for remembering. We're all excited here. The baby aspirin is after ovulation right?
Thanks everyone, let's keep the advice coming!
baby aspirin can be taken any time, it helps (so they THINNK!) w/increase blood flow, so that should help w/the linning before ovulation, then w/implantation.
Great idea for this post! I joined this forum couple days ago. 44yo TTC au natural--had bloodwork done, FSH 15.4, just had HSG done today, SHSG tomorrow and follicle testing next week. Looking thru some of previous threads and read about different things people have tried w/success but was too time consuming trying to track everything. So please, in addition to supplements, would love any and all advice to assist me and all others TTC!!!
My very best advice is just to go to the RE as soon as possibel!!! They can work wonders!
My Gyn recommended me begin taking CitraNatal vitamins. I began taking the vitamins in August 09 and I conceived within 4 months. Not certain how much of a factor this played in the pregnancy. I also carried with me in my purse a marble egg. I usually kept the egg with me in my position during the day. Since eggs represent reproduction I thought I might give it a try. So I continued to believe and kept positive thoughts and Surprise. It has worked for me at 43.
I conceived twice at 41 (miscarried though unfortunately). I recommend charting your temperature and making sure you BD on the day of ovulation ie the one before your temp rises. Raise legs for a while afterwards.
Actually all 3 times I've conceived I have travelled before ovulating which delays it a day or so. Maybe it is better for dh to have a day or two break.

Hi everyone. I am a 46 yo with two young adults 21 and 23. I am trying to concieve for the last 2 1/2 years but no luck. I have had a myomectomy in june of 2009 and 6 months now post surgery. I had about 15 fibroids that were removed. One of my tubes were also blocked. I need some support. My soon to be husband in July is so patient and we are trying to have a baby. I know everyone says be patient and it will happen, but 2 1/2 years!!!!
My last Period was 1/19 and about to ovulate in the next couple of days. I have order my OPK. I also take prenatal vitamins and Cod liver oil pills. Is there anything else I can do
The only consistent thing that has worked for us is BD the day of LH surge and the day after. Otherwise, out of four failed pregnancies, other factors have ranged from progesterone to baby aspirin to clomid w/ HCG injections. We get preg pretty easily we just can't keep any of them.

I have tried everything from raspberry tea to grapefruits etc etc,So what i think its down to is nature to be honest. We can go out and spend a fortune on everything thats supposed to help in getting pregnant and lets face it most of us probably have done already. But i am just the same as every woman who wants to have a baby on here,i long to get pregnant and dont think my life will be complete without ever becoming a mother. But if and when i have to face the facts and the decision to come to terms with not ever being able to then i will just have to.But for now i like every other wonderful woman on here will carry on with trying to live my dream to be a mother and carry on.We all need each other for advise and support and at the end of the day we are all helping each other because we are all in the same position. There is no miracle thats available we just have to accept that, but every success story gives us hope and spurs us on and we all truly need that hope to carry on xxx
In my case, acupuncture worked wonders. Look for one whose card says "women's reproductive issues" or something like that, in other words, someone who specializes enough in women's fertility to print it on their advertising, not just someone who says, "Oh, sure," when you ask if they do it. I got the name of mine as a recommendation from my RE. :)
I've just been reading a lot about DHEA. Seems a lot of RE's are having their patients take it. I'm going to go get some today and try it. What the heck, I've nothing to lose.
