Abnormal amounts of vaginal discharge?

I've gotten a lot more vaginal discharge than normal for about a week; my period is two weeks away so it's a little early for ovulation... and doesn't extra discharge associated with ovulation normally only last for a few days?

There isn't anything abnormal about the discharge except the amount; my underwear gets uncomfortably damp quickly so some days I've had to change it more than usual. The discharge is a translucent whitish-yellow a little thicker than water (normal for me), and smells normal, but the amount makes the smell a lot stronger so I've had to wash my jeans after 1--2 wears. Even though I have good hygiene and wear clean clothes the smell still makes me self-conscious.

The other usual PMS symptoms are just now starting to come and I haven't noticed any unusual signs... so what could be going on? Thanks!

No itching or discomfort; everything else seems normal. I'm not sexually active or ever have been. I've had a yeast infection before (years ago) and this doesn't feel nearly as severe, and I don't feel sick... I suppose it could be an infection, though given the absence of other symptoms I think it's probably unlikely... But thank you for the advice!

2 weeks away from period is when most women ovulate, not all women have extra discharge with ovulatioin.,,the yellow color indicates possibility of infection, white could be yeast, any itching? are you sexually active, ? you should go to gyno if this doesnt sop in a day or two, if you develop, fever, difficulty passing urine, painful urination go to dr immediatley, I think you got some type of infection.
