Desperate and scared

I am a 17 year old girl and I have had my period since I was 12 and from day one I had an extrenuous amount of pain in my lower back and my lower abdomen. The pain is present even if the menstruation isn't and it is constant, all day, everyday! I bleed also for extended periods I have had my period for a month and a half this time but it has lasted for up to three months with only a day or so break before the next one. I am constantly getting thrush and I can't have intercourse with my boyfriend as the pain is too unbearable. It's dictating my life and has contributed to alot of heart ache and stress. I have had multiple ultra sunds and pap smears which have all come back fine. I am pushing for a laporoscopy but due to my age I am constantly being told no. I feel as if I'm not being taken seriously although I have persisted to pester doctors and specialists. I've tried multiple types of pain relef and blood medications, I've had physio and I've tried herbal remedies. I'm at my witts end with this and I just want to have a normal life like the other girls my age. PLEASE HELP ME!

You can still ask your mom to come along with you, she doesn't have to live with you. She's just someone who is older that the doctor may listen to more than yourself. Hope you can get one soon.

A laparoscopy would be a great next step if you can get one done. Have you gone to these specialists with your mom? It may help to bring her along so that she can push for this to happen as well and they may take her more seriously than you. I know it's annoying, but keep trying to push for the laparoscopy until you get one. Good luck
