GF sick, have no idea what's wrong

My GF is really sick. After a bout of food poisoning a couple weeks ago, she was pretty much fine, except for the fact she wasn't eating. Turned out she couldn't keep ANYTHING down. No stomach problems or anything, it just comes up for no reason after a few minutes. Even liquids. She's had a severe headache for 2-3 weeks now,  and the last time she threw up, it had blood in it. In the past 12 hours, she's also started retaining water and has lost her voice. We have managed to have her keep down a little food, but not enough. She hasn't been running a fever (or if she has, its so mild I haven't noticed)

The big deal about this is that we can't afford a doctor – neither of us, or our families, have insurance, and we can't afford even a checkup. We're trying desperately to avoid a visit to the emergency room, but no one has any idea what's wrong so we can just get medicine, home remedies, ect. we're all really starting to get worried, so I turned to the net. Figured someone here could tell us something.

If I think of/find out anything else, I'll post it.

k guys, just FYI, she's not throwing up anymore and the headache's gone. she's still coughing, but i think that's because of her sinuses are now congested. and her mom get her some nyquil, so she can sleep now.

the only really worrying part, which she only mentioned ot me once, which i can't believe i almost forgot, because its probably really important:
he temp's down to 95

any idea why?

Food poisoning can do permanent damage, don't mess with this just in case.

Just get her to the hospital and worry about all that other crap later.  It's just a bunch of paperwork..the ER will not turn her away...GO.

really? i didn't know it was even possible for a 17-year old's liver to shut down.

The main reason she hasn't been taken yet is because her parents are worried about loosing the house. =/ Can you tell more about this fund?

The symptoms sound severe enough in nature that I think it may warrant a trip to the ER. They will see her. The symptom that bothers me the most is water retention. That could be a sign of liver or something shutting down. Seriously, now is not the time to worry about money, she needs to be seen asap. And please check back and let us know what it is ok? Hospitals also have a fund but you must ask for the help, they will not advertise it to you, based on your income and ability to pay.
