Late start of periods in some girls

I am in my late teens and still havn't started getting periods... while i remember once clotting.. for only a single time .
i have discussed the concerned with my mother recently and i am looking forward to see a specialist.
but befor that i wish to get myself some information on this topic

i have gathered that it might be due to my weak muscualr system, which i very much think so because my muscles pain almost all day..  specially at the back of my neck.

i would like to gather some more information on this. what should i do? do i have to take calcium pills or something .

you are doing the right thing by seeing a specialist, perhaps your hormones need a boost, doctors can prescribe meds for that....Good luck
