My period!

I'm 14 and I never had sex! I started my periods just after I turned 14 and that was 6 months ago and I never got it since. Is that normal? And how can I get it back? Would it be a good idea just to go to the doctors, but I'm afraid what they would do to me? But what would the doctors do to me when I go in? (Please these 4 questions I have asked here it would mean a lot) I have also fingered myself just incase that changes anything!

Yes it is normal. It happens at times because of the hormones. It will come when it is ready so I wouldn't worry to much about getting it back.

I would recommend you see your doctor anyways and please be reassured that they are there to talk to, help you and answer your questions you should not be afraid at all.

Fingering yourself will not change anything but stress can.

Hey I'm 14 too haha. I got my period around 13 and I've missed about 4 months each year, but not all at once. I think the most was 3 months. I've never had sex and this is perfectly normal. In fact if you're naturally skinny (or in my case anorexic) then you can lose your period for bits of time. If you don't get your period within 3 months I would talk to your doctor. Good luck!
