Sudden sharp pain in centre of abdomen

Hey guys well I've basically been off exercise since February due to an injury (torn shoulder cartilage) so I'm suspecting that this pain has got to do with this long period of inactivity.

Basically I was walking to the kitchen and the floor was a little slippery (those marble like tiles), anyway I slipped then to balance myself I did this awkward pose where my right foot crossed over my left foot such that the feet were like crossed. It all happened very quickly and by doing that my abdomen area sort of contracted to maintain my balance. Anyway right as it happened, I had this sudden sharp pain in the centre of the abdomen though it subsided very quickly within 3 - 4 seconds.

Now that area is tender and hurts a little if i touch (only if i contract my abdomen). My guess it's because that sudden movement maybe cause some slight sprain or something? thanks :D

Oh now that i mentioned sprain it's like the sharp pain u get when you fall on your ankle and sprain it or something.

It seems like a small trauma(sprain?, bruised ligament?, torn ligament?, etc) to your abdomen and it should heal up on it's own in a couple weeks. If the pain does not go away or if it gets worse, then make a doctor's appointment. Take care
