not tall enough

I am sensitive about my height and i am a male teenager who's turning 17 in jan 08. I currently  
stand at 5"6 and this has been bothering me for about 2 years now. I want to be atleast 5"10, whats wrong with me?

I have had other issues like anixiety and stress...please what can i do?
I'm dying to be atleast 5"10

Everyone keeps asking...ohh we thought you would be as tall as your dad (who is 6feet) by now. (everybody says and asks me that)

hey this is aced, i understand what everybody is saying; but this has been bothering me for a very long time and its constantly at the back on my mind, Thanks for all the replies guys, i really appreciate the comments ;)

It really gets to me when my dad just stands next to me, because im just above his shoulder and that doesnt feel soo good. Anyway well im 17 this month, Im planning on joining a gym (hopefully) and also running everyday i hope i have some luck. On top of that its my final year of school..;( Argh! the pressure and the stress.

Its not like im asking for much.., and just about 5mins ago i had my doubts about this whole thing and thats why i immediately hopped on the net to see the replies to this.

my cousin stopped growin at 4' 11", be happy with what you've got bud. anyways, you don't stop growin until ur 21, just stay active and stuff cuz that helped my brother go from 5' 4" to 5' 6" which is where he stopped and he's 21. I on the other hand am 18 and 6' 1" and my dad's 6' 0" too...its just the luck of the draw, and to tell ya the truth i don't really like being this tall!

im 5.1 and my hb 5.3  so you aint in munckin land yet .
you still grow beyond 18 too so hang fire before you stress on it ! x x

All of my friends are shorter than 5"10 while i am 6'1.Not many people care how tall you are so you shouldn't worry about it.But you might get a growth spert sometime.

most of my mates are short, im 6'1 and there is nothin special about it matey. What are u missing out on?
