well, ur suppost to take them the same time everyday and like said above taking antibiotics can make them not work for a while. but yeah like sweetpea said, it wont be this big deal unless its a while difference. im forgetful too, i take them in the morning before school but it being summer vaca i sleep in late and different times so its hard...by the way i tried nuvaring as my first birth control...hated it! the first time i put it in i was like im done lol...just saying i wouldnt recommend it, and i think ive seen commercials saying something about it being bad kinda like they do with the ones if you took one of these pills and your baby had a birth defect blah blah blah...not the same thing but suttin like that

A couple minutes isn't going to do anything(pill will still be effective), but if you are missing your pill by more than an hour, then you may want to look into another birth control method.

Yea, taking them at different times each day is almost like not taking them at all because then your hormone levels will fluctuate since the pill is not keeping them stable and you don't want that. If you are very forgetful, please make a doctor's appointment and look into other options for birth control. You can try using the birth control patch, the implant, the depo shot, etc all of which are not taken daily and you won't have to remember all the time. Talk to your doctor about what will work best for you and then start using that. Hope it goes well.

Yes, you are supposed to take the birth control pill every single day at the same time. Also, if you are put on anti-biotics or another medication, it can make your birth control ineffective, so you will need to use condoms as a back up birth control for at least a week after stopping the medication. Take care.
