Okay so I have posted questions on here before about pregnancy..I have another question.Can a pap smear tell if you are pregnant? Please dont laugh at me oe make fun of me because I truly dont know...the reason I am asking
this is because I had one done and they said everything looked okay..but i dont know if a pap can tell if you are
or not...i have missed 2 periods now and i i know this sounds weird but i feel different...i dont know what is up but
will someone please help.i appreciate any answers

well...than i'd say go according to the most recent time you did have sex. count 14 days from then and test. if you have sex within that 2 weeks....still test at the 14 days if you want but you'll have to wait another 2 weeks to see if you got pregnant that time. but from what i understand a doctor can NOT tell from a pap smear if you're pregnant. if you're far enough along your cervix would be closed and they'd be able to tell that way.

well thats the thing we have had sex a lot within the last 3 months...its all the time and im not sure when to test

if it's been at least 14 days since you've had sex that's long enough. or 10 days if you want to get a blood test done.

i did both a month ago but we had unprotected sex more than once throughout the last 2 months and i dont know if i would be far enough to even tell since i dont know the exact dates

no they don't check for pregnancy with pap smears. they just check to make sure there are no abnormalities in the cells of the cervix. if you were far enough along the doctor would be able to tell you're pregnant just from doing the exam. i'm not sure how far along that would have to be. have you taken an hpt? if your period is 2 months late you will get a good result now. if you don't want to do that then schedule an appointment to have a blood test done.
