Could I be pregnant while taking birth control?

I've been taking birth control since I became sexually active in March. My period has always come on time and it has never been late before I was on birth control or during. Now my period is two weeks late. I took two pregnancy test a week after and both were negative How accurate are Pregnancy tests? Aren't they always correct? I'm really concerned I could be pregnant, I feel as though my bodies changing. I've been extremely moody not to mention getting nausea and headaches and I've even have sore breasts AND I am constantly tired. Looking at pregnancy symptoms from what I googled all of these are LISTED! I am very concerned that I could be pregnant. My boyfriend and I were not using condoms. I am only 18 years old, and I really don't know what to do?

hey! im on b/c aswell but i also use condoms. b/c on its own is only 97% effective so you should always double it up with condoms (both together are 99%). Also, if you start using condoms, always check when your finished if they have ripped or anything. I do this and it makes me feel alot safer :-)

Stress/Worry can delay your period. I never had a period a few months ago as I was stressing myself out over a jab but they went back to normal. Try not to worry and maybe go to your local clinic or doctor and they can help you :-)

You need to go to your doctor and get a blood test. I got pregnant using birth control and I ALWAYS took it on time and never missed a pill....so it's definitely possible. You should always use a condom AND BC to make it safer....symptoms by themselves don't mean anything but if your period is late you should go to your doctor and find out why. Stress can delay your period, but after 2 weeks you should go to your doctor and see what's up if you've always been regular :). and no home pregnancy tests are not 100% correct. false negatives are way more common than false positives. Good luck, stay calm.
