pregnancy test- is it a positive or a negative?

i took a 'rite aid one step pregnancy test' yesterday and the result is weird. a minus sign=not preg and a plus sign=preg...the minus is thick and dark but theres a very very thin and light blue line making it a plus sign. i forgot its best to take the test the first time you go to the bathroom in the morning when your urine is most concentrated with the hcg (i think thats what its called) hormone, and i took the test around noon, after i had gone a few times. so im wondering if maybe there wasn't enough in my urine and thats why the line wasn't thick or dark? i dont know if im pregnant or not, im trying to find out, but i cant afford to take more tests. thats why im trying to find out if its likely that it was a positive but that i should have waited to take the test early in the morning. im 2 weeks late for my period so i know i didnt take it to early (even though the box claims you can take it up to 5 days or so before a missed period). can you please help me out? i took a picture but my phone didn't take a good picture, its hard to see the line unless its up to a light. its definitely there, i just don't know if it means anything. i compared the line to a strand of hair, its about that thick maybe a little thicker. it sounds crazy but its there. i sent my friend the pic and after zooming and fixing the pic he said its barely visible in a pic, but he can see where there is one without me telling him exactly where. ill upload the pic i edited of it with arrows..but don't take it to seriously from a picture, because like i said its barely visible...depending on how good of eyesight you have.

That's what my friend cierra said this morning. She said I need to find out if I am abd if I'm not then obvuously something isn't right. Today I was having a pain Im not sure I've ever had. Its in my low abdomen just above my belt..almost the same place. I'm not sure how to tell my mom but I think I have to. Well my friend charles is 18 and he said he'd help in any way he can..maybe he can help me go to the doctor or help me tell my mom if pat cant

Maybe its time that you go to the dr and find out for sure what is going on

Well it said not pregnant. I took one again the other day and it still said nit pregnant. But I'm 3 1/2 weeks late for my period (due Monday), I think I'm getting morning sickness (at least once a day I have to hurry and get out of class for the bathroom because I feel like I'm going to vomit..I havebt yet but Im getting close). My breasts are slowly getting sore that I have to be more gentle while putting a bra on and stuff. Today, the smell of the chicken we had for lunch almost made me vomit..my friends were giving me looks. They are very suspicious. I gained 2lbs in a week or 2 (I was losing weight at a constant rate) and my jeans are tighter in the hips/abdomen and I had to go one hole looser on my belt. the food cravings/aversions are getting worse.  While I was getting off the busvat school I smelt coffee and had to hurry off because of my stomach..the guy is on my bus and he sits across from me so he sees me getting worse and same at lunch he sits a table away. My body is telling me I'm pregnant..but the stick says no. I went to the dentist on Monday and they had to ask if I could be preg so I could get xrays. The woman asked a couple questions, went to ask my dentist if she should do the xrays and she said no. They both said it sounds like I'm preg. They didn't tell my mom though..thank god. I'm scared..he actually saw me cry. My stomachs hurting more I keep finding myself holding my stomach and stuff. Blah.

Alright, thank you. No I haven't yet...I really don't want to unless I'm sure. If I can't find a way to have it confirmed by a doctor on my own soon, ill have to tell my mom.

Ok thank you. Yeah I saw that but I wasnt sure if it was even for this light and thin. Ok, ill retest and make sure.

Any line there no matter how thick or thin or light or dark indicates pregnancy. So I would say that you are most definitely pregnant. You should probably schedule a drs appt for your first ore natal exam. If your period is 2 week late then you are probably about 6 weeks along. Have you told your parents?

Its probably a positive. On a pregnancy test some lines come out darker and other light. It will even tell you in the instructions that even if one line comes out light its positive.
