Spotting after period

Hi, I've experienced some spotting 5 days after an oddly long period which lasted 8 days. It began light but gradually became heavy. My period is regular, with a 28 day cycle. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 2 days after my period ended which was 3 days before the spotting began. We havent had sex since two weeks prior to the spotting which was before my last period. What could be the reason for the spotting?

Me and my boyfriend had sex about 2 weeks ago..and he felt that he didnt pull out on time...so 2 days later we went and got the morning after pill and the pharmacy said that iwould bleed heavily and get cramps right after. nothing happened and i got my period as normal. i got it june 8 and it ended june 15. the past 4 days i have been have brownish discharge and i was wondering what this means. Thanks
