Might be having a eptopic pregnancy but not sure.

I started my period as normal even though it's not on a regular schedule and I hardly ever have cramps, it lasted for a week and I was using tampons for the first two weeks of bleeding, because I didn't realize how long it was lasting, once I did realize something was up I started googling what might be wrong I got a bunch of pregnancy websites, and different answers and I haven't had any cramps which is a symptom for all the things I did find, I think I might be having an eptopic pregnancy but I can't be sure and I'm afraid to go to the doctor for it I don't want to freak out my bf, the bleeding started lightly here and there on and off then it got heavy for a while then it stopped being blood and stated looking like brown blood and now it's gotten less and less dark and is now obviously pink instead. Please help.
