May I have your opinon? Am I pregnant?

Me and my boyfriend had sex about a week ago, last Friday (09/19) and my usual period comes around the 26-02 or 15-19 It is irregular, we had intercourse again but there wasn't any ejaculation on (09/29) I understood my period was late but I've never actually had a constant period date. I was late 8 days before getting my period it started off light but came to be heavy as it usually is supposed to be. We have decided to have a home pregnancy test just in case because I heard you can still have your period while being pregnant so we just wanna be sure. This isn't the first time, we were pregnant two years ago but I had a miscarriage at 10-11 weeks. I had all the symptoms last time but I have constant headaches, irribility, constant feeling of needing to urinate but end up not having to, very emotional, back pain... were very concerned... and i need advice if this is something usual for pregnancy or not. I am 16 and he is 17, Thank you for your time.

If you're having your period then you are most likely not pregnant. Most women do not bleed when pregnant and if they do it's almost always very light. You can test after your period is over but I'm pretty sure you will get a negative.
Can I ask if you're on birth control or, are you trying to get pregnant? I'm asking because it sounds like you may be using the pull out method and that is not a good form of birth control. You can still get pregnant. If you're not trying to get pregnant you can go to a woman's clinic and get free condoms and most of the time other forms of birth control for free.

Thank you for your comment. I've been having a heavy flow for about 4 days now, Im still confused on my period, two close friends gave me different comments back saying i could be and the other one said im not since i got my period. We haven't planned time to go get a test yet. Say if i actually am, is it bad to wait to take a test or does it make it easier to not get a false positive?

If you're not using any birth control you could be pregnant. You should probably wait at least another week before taking a test. If you take it to early it could be wrong.
