Hi, i had a termination about 4 weeks ago and since then iv had my period, the last couple of weeks it has came an gone like 3 days apart mayb. i have been having sex durring this time. Is this normal and when will it stop!? Can i still get pregnant again?

yeaah uh sex after an abortion, its said to be super easy to get pregnant again. wouldnt you want to wait longer? i mean, idk, i dont want to be judging but wouldnt having the abortion kinda push you aayf rom wanting to have sex and possibly have to go through it all again. anyway, the bleeding that you are having, is still from your abortion! its just your body cleansing itself and getting rid of all the tissue and stuff that was being stored inside of you when you were pregnant. dont woryy, it should slowly die off, just keep a light pad in your underwear for a while and once its gone for a week straight id say its prolly over.

Ok I had one last year and I was NOT to have sex till after my appointment with a doctor to make sure there was not scarring. (which I had) I also bled for 6 weeks because they aborted my child at 18weeks 4 days and didn't tell me. Which they aren't to do here in Canada. Also if you are having unprotected sex they you should not be suprised if you get pregnant AGAIN.

She -said- four weeks ago...read before you criticize, yeesh.  With the bleeding, that's pretty normal, it's not your "period" per se, and it can go on -forever- after an abortion.  I mean, I had to do 3 rounds of the miso, so perhaps my perspective is skewed, but still.  You can get pregnant again, so either use protection or get on the pill.

after an abortion your not suopsed to have sex or put anything in your vagina for 2 weeks after, witch by that time you should have had a check-up with your doctor to make sure everything is ok and he/she will tell you more then

well i know most women have a long peroid after haveing a baby but you had an abortion :( but you should wait atleast 2-3 months before having sex again its not good for your body so my advice go to the doctor get it checked and ask your doctor any thing about this situation that comes to your mind... you should really be concerned about this but not too much just ask your doctor who did the abortion or your health doctor

i hope you did not have unprotected sex after having had an abortion. i dont kno how it really works but i do know your supposed to wait a certian amount of time before having sex. i cant really tel you whats going on because ive never had an abortion so maybe someone who has can tel you if this is normal.

but you should call the doctor that preformed this and ask them.
