If you're looking at a test 20 minutes later it can say positive, but you're not pregnant. This is what the women are trying to tell you. You have to take the test and wait the time it says to wait, some will give you results right away, and go with that. It sounds like you are not pregnant.

I'm sorry I really don't mean too be rude but are you pregnant or not cause on other post you keep saying you are & that your due Feb 9th ? But now your not sure if you are ? If you really are 14 as you said you were you should just go to a clinic & get tested it's free & they'll advise you on teen pregnancy sex & provide free contraception if your not pregnant .

Well I took a test in the morning after reading hcg is higher in the morning it said negative so I went back to sleep then woke up about 20-25 mins later looked at it again while going through my bag and it said positive like clearly. Then a test I took a few days before did they same thing. I recently took two more test due to confusion and they both say negative and don't even gave the"evap/positive line". I used ept.

I would suggest retaking the test in a day or so, first thing in the morning. Like the first poster said, false positives are rare. But the second poster is also correct a test must be read within 5 minutes to be accurate. Retake to make sure.

Unless it is the same test and you're looking at it again. If you look at a test past 10 minutes from the moment you took it then no you're not pregnant its just what some tests do. After a period of time a test may appear positive when it really isn't that's why when you test the result that is there within the first10 minutes is the real result.

You're pregnant. False positives are very rare. You could've gotten a negative because you either took the first test wrong or the test didn't pick up the HCG. It depends on the brand of test you use because some are more sensitive then others.
