I'm 17 almost 18 in 6 days stopped taking my birth control Tuesday and Wednesday for planned pregnancy. But I'm spotting and I just started taking my BC again Thursday night. Does anyone know what this means? Please help?!

I agree. Stopping your pills has thrown you off schedule. Use condoms for right now. You may want to stop your birth control for the rest of the month and let yourself have a period. Start your pills like normal on the 5th or 7th day, what ever your pills call for. You may need to use condoms the next month while your pills start working again. It would be a good idea to call your Dr to find out for sure.
Having a baby is the biggest thing that will ever happen to you. Please do not get pregnant until you're completely ready. When you've finished school and college, if you plan to go, when you have a good job, a home, a husband. I'm telling you this because I talk to teen girls most everyday so I know the struggles they go through. Having a baby is the hardest job you will ever have. Once you have one your life is not your own any more, it belongs to that baby.
I'm sorry if I sound like a mom. I am a mom and this is exactly what I told my own daughter.
I have no doubt you made the right decision to wait until you're ready.

I think you maybe spotting because you messed up your BC schedule. You have to restart the whole process next month or the next time your period starts.

You've just messed up your schedule by stopping and then restarting your birth control.

Okay I just didn't know if it was a miscarriage sign or something bad

Id wait and take a test then... you should definitely use condoms though while you're waiting, not taking your birth control can mess up your whole month. I got pregnant after not taking it for 3 days. Definitely wait until it's a forsure decision before taking action like it!

I was but decided against it. Would much rather not. I had my period about 16 days ago.

Are you trying to get pregnant? Im confused. And if you're bleeding and just had your period, you're 99% not pregnant
