Sometimes you get closer, however, a newborn baby is hard work, and it may just bring you guys farther apart for a while. My pregnancy was a breeze for my husband and I, then when our son was born, we weren't getting sleep, we were exhausted, and it's hard the first year just guessing what could be wrong with your baby. After the first year it got easier, he started talking, walking, and we could relax a little more, that's when things got better for us. But if things don't improve, you can't have a baby in the mix, it's not healthy for a baby to see fighting parents!
