could i be pregnant?

I have been on birth control for over 2 years, and i have always had a regular somewhat heavy 6-7 day period. i have recently switched to a new birth control about 4-5 months ago. about 2 weeks ago a had sex for the first time in almost a year. it was also unprotected. about a week after that i started my period a week earlier then usual. it was also extremely different then normal. it was very light, almost spotting and i still am on it. its been about 13 days and its still extremely light. very on and off. and i have no cramps or usual period symptoms. is it possible that i am pregnant? im scared that and am thinking about taking a home pregnancy test.

I think that you should take the test for your own sanity. Also I would call my ob to make she/he aware of what's happening!

you could be pregnant or it could be your body still adjusting to your new b/c. what is the new b/c? is it still a pill, shot, patch or iud?

Yes, that could be implantation bleeding.  Take a test, and if it/s negative wait two eeks and take another one.
