can my parents legally force me to get an abortion?

Well the thing is my sister just told my parents about what everything is going on with me. They wanted me to get an abortion before this whole health issues and risks. I have heard if medically as a minor your parents if you have health problems and can prove that you can;t relly make the decision that they can make the decision for you. I know I've shown that I've gone back and forth on my decision and all but it' just because of all the pressure. But could they force me to get one if they proved that or what?

They probably would not be so foolish as to try to show you are "not of sound mind" simply because you thought you would have an abortion and then changed your mind.

They can't. A psychiatrist and judge would. They can't just say "oh she's crazy." That doesn't fly in court. If you're crazy....a psychiatrist and judge would determine that. If you aren't...they'll tell your parents that you're not and they can't do anything. If it is bad enough you can get a lawyer (there are state aid lawyers who will help you for free) and they can get you removed from their home so you and the baby are safe.

but can they try to prove I'm not of sound mind by going back and forth on my choice and by now choosing to ctt in a situation like this or not?

No, they cannot force you to get an abortion. If they keep up with it you can contact social services and speak with a lawyer. If you want to keep the baby and your parents are being unbearable they can help you out.

I don't think anybody can make you get an abortion.  If you are of sound mind then the choice is yours.  You need to think about what you want to do and don't let the pressure get to you.  Good luck.
