miscarrage?

Ok so my gf is telling me she took a test and it said she was pregnant and then a month later bleeds for 6+ hours.  Is it possible that she is still pregnant?

did you see the positive pregnancy test? did you go with her to the doctor? i dont want to acuse/assume anything but its odd for any women who is pregnant to NOT want to make sure everything is ok whether the baby was wanted or not and i would be concerned about a 'doctor' who doesnt run any tests. i misscarried in june of 07 and on my way to the hospital i passed the fetal tissue and was able to present it to the doctor so the 'proof' was there but they wanted to make sure and still did an u/s and b/w. she needs to have her hcg levels checked and an ultrasound to make sure she passed all the tissue if she wasn infact pregnant and miscarried. either way she needs to be checked for her own health.

She may or may not have miscarried, but she really needs to have a follow up with her Obgyn... Best Wishes.

it's important to follow up with your doctor after a miscarriage.  She should go back and have bloorwork to make sure that if she did have a MC, that all the tissues expelled to make sure she does not need a d and c.

if a doctor said she miscarried then i would say yes she miscarried. your not supposed to bleed like that during pregnancy. i would have her hcg levels checked and/or an ultrasound done to confirm it

um well then i would say then yes she is. thats what the bleeding was. your not supposed to really bleed during a pregnancy. im sorry

ok she went and saw her doctor he said she miscarried but he did not run any tests or check anything.

maybe but i would say not likely. usually doctors would tell you to call them if you start to bleed like that. did she call her doctor.
