60mg Armour Thyroid and TSH 3.804

I was diagnosed hypothyroid 4 years ago and put on 30 mg Armour. In July 2007 I was tested and had T4 free = .99 and TSH 4.229. My doctor doubled my Armour thyroid.  Last month I was retested and my T4 free is .94 and TSH is 3.804.  My doctor isn't concerned because the numbers fall within the guidlines at the lab.  I am concerned because I have most of the symptoms associated with being hypo, but my doctor isn't listening.

Do I need more Armour thyroid or something else?  Should I see and endocrinologist?

Thanks in advance

Symptoms while on Armour is better to be looked at than actual TSH numbers. The 1.0 stated is a great goal to shoot for. Follow your symptoms. If you feel bad - try increases. I do not see a Free T3 tested which is a good indicator also while on Armour. WIll your doctor test Free T3 also?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
would consider an increase in medication as the TSH is still high at 3.8 -- target is around 1.0.
