Instead of swollowing the medication try letting it absorb through the blood stream by tucking the med between the cheek and upper gum - or under the tongue. Also take it thoughout the day - but I do not suggest at night. First dose should (60mg) should be around 7am then 30mg around 11 the 30mg around 2 or 3:00.
Your stomach will not have to process the med if you don't swollow it and all the Armour will be absorbed. Sometimes stomach acid with deminish the dosage and you won't get the full amount everday.
I have had great success maintaining my thyroid meds doing it this way for over 6 months.
Good Luck
Fatigue can be a symptom of a lot of health conditions. Armour is not necessarily a cure-all. Its not a miracle drug. Like anything else, we are not all alike. So some people do well (some for a while), while others still have problems. Too high T4 to T3 as in Armour can leave us a little tired, among other possible issues as well. However you might be one that does well. Good Luck!
GL,
Thyroid patient - information is gathered from reading legit medicals and not meant as a diagnose or treatment, but rather a helpful suggestions or direction.
Too much medication can be over-stimulating to the heart.
So, the question is "what's normal" -- would not want to see a TSH <0.3.
A related discussion,
Itching was started.
T3, even in Armour only last approx 4 to possibly 6 hours in the system whereas the T4 last 6/7 days. So you might consider taking 1 gr in the AM and 4 to 6 hours later take the other 1 gr. T3 gives a boost then a let down while fizzling out of the system, so to keep even, it is suggested taking several times a day and throughout night which ever way the 4/6 hours works out, you might have to do it in 3s.
Good Luck.

I am on 2 gr of Armour which I take by itself on an empty stomach
Are you taking your Armour all at once? and how much are you on?
