Hello everyone! I had a total thyroidectomy in 2014 due to Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I had two rounds of Radioactive Iodine. I moved states in January. I was due to have another Thyrogen/whole body scan since then but I havent had insurance and wont have insurance until May 1.
March 1st I started having this painful stabbing feeling in my neck around where my thyroid was on the side my biggest tumor was. I felt around and found a large hard lymph node there. Since then, it is still here and another on the other side now. I have also been getting these strange random nose bleeds. I have never had a nose bleed in my life and now twice a week I have them. The pain in my neck radiates into my left ear, and this week has gotten worse. I constantly feel like I need to clear my throat as when Im talking it cracks like I have something stuck in there. Two nights ago while at work, I had to stop talking as talking was becoming painful and it felt like I was straining to talk, like I had been screaming all night long. Now I am just hoarse. I do not have a cold, its not a sore throat but my NECK that hurts. There are no white spots in my mouth or back of my throat, and it is not red.
Now I am getting winded doing normal activities, I have to stop and catch my breath. Has anyone had a local recurrence with symptoms like this? Again, I cant see a doc and not go bankrupt until May 1st so any advice would be welcomed.
