Full body rash, intense itching

I have hypothyroidism (diagnosed about three weeks ago, I've been experiencing a strange body rash-about four times now(since 2011) that always starts at my neck and eventually reaches my feet. I have extreme itching, swollen lymph nodes in groin and sometimes a low grade temp. My skin looks sunburned... So technically it doesn't look like your typical rash. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi,
Thanks for your input...Drs diagnosed me with urticaria... Meaning they don't know what it is LOL. I'm thinking thyroid or an histamine reaction to foods containing high amounts of histamines.

Hives can be symptom of both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. I only have physical urticaria (hives) after a shower when I'm hyperthyroid and in my case it doesn't itch but my skin can be hot to the touch/feel like it's burning.
