Best Books to read on Hashimotos

I am 38 and was just diagnosed last week with a low thyroi.  I've heard pregnancy can  make hashimotos show up I'm just glad I'm gtting treatment.  My questions are 1) how long till it takes affect in me.  Can I decrease my depression meds slightly as I inrease my synthroid frequency.  2) also I love coffee, half & half with sugar every morning.  Is waiting 30 minutes enough before I dig in to my coffee?  Thanks,

Jacki

There are plenty of books on the market. I've read about a dozen although my favourite thyroid book is Running On Empty by Robyn Koumourou. Five years of research and endorsed by Thyroid Australia. The author has Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
