Change to Synthroid

I am on day 20 of my medication change.  Switched from 1 1/2 gr of Naturethroid to Synthroid 150 mcg  and am feeling worse.  Getting increased fatigue ,muscle pain, depression, etc. Has anyone experienced this?  I had labs drawn yesterday and hopefully will find out levels on Monday

Thanks for replies.  I wasnt feeling well on Naturethroid, but better than i am feeling now.  I have to have TSH supression for thyroid cancer but cant get to that level with Naturethroid without severe hyper symptoms ( I assume from T3)  I wanted to stay on a lower dose of Naturethroid and add a small dose of Synthroid so I could just add T4 but Endo wouldnt go for it.

Why did you change from NaturThroid to Synthroid if you were feeling okay?

Have to wonder if it's the lack of T3 supplementation making you feel bad.  Post your levels as soon as you can, so members can comment more fully.

Great that you had labs done...make sure to get a copy of your results so you can post them here for us to look at.  You just changed from a T4/T3 combo med to a T4 med only...might be why you feel so bad. You may be lacking T3. Hopefully your doctor ran a Free T3 test along with a Free T4 so you can tell if you are or aren't converting well.
