too much meds?

Last month i was told i had an over active thyroid. So they put me on methimazole 10mg taking one every four hours. Went back to the doc this month and she said that nothing had changed so she incressed it to take 3 in the am and 3pm. Plus taking Propanal for my heart fluttering. When i first started these meds they made me nauseus but after a few weeks i could live with it. Now im back at square one have to get use to it. I googled the meds im taking and it says dont take the two together i told my doc how they make me feel and that i googled them and she said i have to take em. So is my doc trying to kill me? I dont have insurance so i cant get a second oppion. I was looking around this forum and found a place where it says hyperthyroidism is from graves. My doc never said ne thing about having graves. Is this why i have this problem?

You need to have your TSI antibodies tested to find out if you have graves.  Are you feeling very hyper?  What lab tests have you had done?  Post the results with the reference ranges and others can help you.  You can also be hyper from hashimotos.  I had hashimotos toxicosis.  This generally shouldn't last forever, but in my case I spent the last year mostly hyper.  I am on a beta blocker, but never started the antithyroid meds because by the time they gave tem to me I was already choking on my goiter and just was done with everything.  My thyroid was removed Wednesday.  I hope you start to feel better and find some answers.
